Milan injury crisis calms with Bennacer, increases with Chukwueze

Milan experienced mixed fortunes in their Serie A match against Roma. Ismael Bennacer made a comeback after 134 days, replacing Filippo Terracciano in the second half, following a calf injury sustained in August.

However, the positive moment was overshadowed when Samuel Chukwueze suffered a suspected thigh strain shortly after testing Roma's goalkeeper, Mile Svilar.

Chukwueze was visibly upset as he had to be carried off the field, and it is feared he will be sidelined for at least a month.

This injury will likely cause him to miss Milan's Supercoppa Italiana clash against Juventus on January 3. The team also had several key players absent due to injuries.
