Milan take new approach for Walker and Manchester City

Kyle Walker Kyle Walker

According to *Sky Sport Italia*, AC Milan is set to sign Manchester City defender Kyle Walker on loan with an option to buy, rather than terminating his contract with City. Initially, the plan was for Walker to leave City by mutual consent and join Milan as a free agent.

Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the revised arrangement involves a loan deal with a minimal purchase fee.

Walker has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Milan on a contract lasting until June 2027.

At 34, Walker is seeking a new challenge abroad after joining Manchester City for €52.7 million from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017.

With Manchester United unwilling to cover Marcus Rashford’s salary, Milan can focus on finalizing Walker's move without concerns about non-EU player slots.
