Mkhitaryan: Inter are ‘confident’ they can return to Champions League final

Henrikh Mkhitaryan acknowledged his poor start to the season with Inter Milan but expressed optimism about rediscovering his form and helping the team pursue their goal of reaching another Champions League final.

The Armenian midfielder, who played in Inter’s narrow loss to Manchester City in the 2023 final, emphasized the team's belief and confidence despite a challenging start to the campaign.

Mkhitaryan reflected on Inter's defensive struggles and missed opportunities but remains committed to improving and matching last season's standards. He also dismissed doubts about Inter’s competitiveness, recalling their strong performance against Manchester City, which many underestimated.

The 35-year-old, who has one goal and one assist in 12 Serie A appearances, vowed to continue working hard as Inter aims to compete for both domestic and European titles.
