Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has suggested signing Mohammed Kudus. He believes the Ghanaian player could strengthen Liverpool's forward line.

Murphy made these comments after Liverpool's 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur. This win secured the 2024-2025 EPL title for Liverpool, marking their 20th overall.

Liverpool’s success came in Arne Slot’s first season as manager. He did not make major signings after taking over the team.

In an interview with the BBC, Murphy mentioned Kudus as a potential replacement. Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa, and Diogo Jota may leave this offseason.

“Kudus is robust and skilful,” Murphy said. “He can play as a '10' or on either wing. He is super strong and has great pace.”

Kudus is 24 years old and nearing the end of his second EPL season. He has been linked to a €100 million move to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Kudus scored his first league goal in 2025 during West Ham’s 3-2 loss. Overall, he has four goals and three assists in 31 games this season.
