Mohamed Salah explained why he voted for Vinicius Junior to win The Best FIFA Men's Player award for 2024, highlighting the Brazilian's outstanding performance over the past year.

"Vinicius Junior is a very good player, that's why! He's improving every year and hopefully he can continue, I voted for him because he deserves it," Salah said. Vinicius was recognized for his contributions to Real Madrid's La Liga and Champions League success, despite missing out on the Ballon d'Or.

Salah, currently in superb form with Liverpool, could be a contender for next year's award, having scored 17 goals in 18 Premier League games and leading Liverpool to the top of both the Premier League and Champions League tables.
