Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus scored for West Ham United. They lost 3-2 to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League. The match took place at the American Express Stadium on Saturday.
Brighton's Yasin Ayari opened the scoring with a stunning 30-yard strike. Kudus equalized just after halftime, finishing from Jarrod Bowen's cutback.
West Ham took the lead when Tomas Soucek headed them ahead in the 83rd minute. They thought they had secured the win.
However, Brighton fought back. Substitute Kaoru Mitoma equalized in the 89th minute after a slick team move. Carlos Baleba then scored the winner deep into stoppage time.
This loss adds to West Ham's struggles against Brighton. The Hammers have won only three of their last 17 meetings with them. West Ham will aim to bounce back quickly against Tottenham on May 4th.
