Mohammed Salisu spends winter break in Dubai training ahead of Ligue 1 return

Mohammed Salisu, the Black Stars defender, is currently in Dubai working on his fitness during the French Ligue 1 break.

The 25-year-old, who joined AS Monaco in the summer of 2023, has been training with a coach and is expected to continue his fitness regimen until Ligue 1 resumes in January.

Salisu has been a key player for Monaco this season, making 14 appearances and scoring a goal in the UEFA Champions League.

His standout performance against Dinamo Zagreb earned him a spot in the Champions League Team of the Week.

Despite early injury setbacks, the former Southampton and Real Valladolid defender has become one of the top defenders in Ligue 1.
