The Golden State Warriors are exploring a reunion with Kevin Durant before the February 6 trade deadline to salvage their struggling season.
Currently 11th in the Western Conference, the Warriors need another star to support Stephen Curry, who, at 36, cannot carry the team alone.
Durant, now with the Phoenix Suns, remains their top target due to his scoring ability (28 PPG) and championship experience.
Reports suggest negotiations between the Warriors and Suns have intensified, with Golden State eager to make the deal happen.
Durant previously played three seasons with the Warriors, winning two NBA titles before leaving for Brooklyn.
A potential return could strengthen their playoff push and revive their championship hopes, but securing a deal remains uncertain.
