The National Sports Authority (NSA) has denied claims that Hearts of Oak has received approval to play their postponed Ghana Premier League (GPL) Matchweek 21 fixture against Nations FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The NSA clarified that a special request from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is still awaiting approval.
This adds to the challenges facing Hearts of Oak, who have already struggled to host games at their usual home ground.
Due to scheduled maintenance at the Accra Sports Stadium, the club has been forced to play its home fixtures at the University of Ghana Stadium in the ongoing 2024/25 season.
