New York Red Bulls sign Choupo-Moting on a two-year deal

New York Red Bulls have signed veteran forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to a two-year contract, making him a designated player.

The deal, announced on Wednesday, includes an option for 2027. Choupo-Moting, 35, joins the Red Bulls after spending the past four seasons at Bayern Munich.

During his time there, he scored 38 goals in 122 appearances and helped the team secure three Bundesliga titles, one German Cup, and one FIFA Club World Cup. The Cameroonian international brings valuable experience to the Red Bulls as they strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming seasons.
