Neymar has been recalled to Brazil’s squad for the first time in 17 months for their World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.
The 33-year-old, who suffered a knee injury in October 2023, has impressed since returning to Santos from Al-Hilal, scoring three goals and providing three assists in seven games.
With 128 caps, Neymar is Brazil’s second-most capped player behind Cafu (142) and is their all-time top scorer with 79 goals, surpassing Pelé.
Brazil, currently fifth in the Conmebol standings, will host Colombia on March 21 before facing Argentina five days later.
The squad includes 10 Premier League players, such as goalkeepers Alisson and Ederson, defenders Gabriel and Murillo, and midfielders Bruno Guimarães and Joelinton.
Brighton’s João Pedro and Manchester City’s Savinho are among the attacking options.
