Nigeria Super Eagles end 2024 in 44th place in FIFA rankings

Nigeria's Super Eagles dropped to 44th in the latest FIFA rankings, released on Thursday, after a disappointing home defeat to Rwanda in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

With 1482.23 points, they remain 5th in Africa. Morocco remains the highest-ranked African team at 14th globally, followed by Senegal in 17th.
