Nigeria's Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, announced a major investment. The country has attracted a $300 million commitment in the creative sector.
Musawa shared this information at the 2025 Ministerial Briefing in Abuja on Friday. She mentioned that the government aims to create at least two million jobs in this industry.
President Bola Tinubu plans to launch creative hubs across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones soon. Musawa emphasized that Tinubu’s government wants to establish Nigeria as a global leader in creativity.
“In just 18 months, we have secured over $300 million for the creative industry,” she said. “We have built infrastructure that will generate at least two million jobs.”
