Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren believes the recent training camp was successful. The nine-day camp took place at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram. It helped build trust, chemistry, and team spirit among players.

This camp was crucial for Ghana's preparation for the Women's AFCON. The tournament will be held in Morocco from July 5 to July 26.

Ghana is in Group C with South Africa, Mali, and Tanzania. South Africa are the defending champions after winning in 2022.

Bjorkegren said, “It has been great. Nine days together helped us know more players.” He noted that many trainings and games were beneficial. Spending time together allows players to understand each other better.

He added, “If someone’s having a bad day, there’s always tomorrow.” This extended time reveals talent beyond just one training session.
