Medeama SC’s Communications Director, Nana Effah Asare, says the club will have no excuse but to blame itself if it fails to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
Currently sitting 5th on the league table after 26 matches with 12 wins, 5 draws, and 9 losses, the Yellow and Mauves are still in contention with seven games to go.
In an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Effah disclosed that management, the board, technical team, and players had all aligned ahead of the season with one goal: to win the title.
“If we fail to get the ultimate, if we fail to get a trophy, we have ourselves to blame. Before the season started, we sat down and agreed that our focus is to win the 2024/25 season,” he said.
He emphasized the club’s renewed determination to return to continental competition, highlighting the exposure and growth from their recent CAF campaign.
“We’re working very hard to get back to Africa. It projected the Medeama Sporting Club to the apex, and we want to build on that,” he added.
Effah concluded by stating that the club is leaving no stone unturned in their push for glory, urging consistency and intensity in the final stretch of the season.
