Diogo Jota came off the bench to salvage a 1-1 draw for Liverpool against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Forest took the lead early when Chris Wood scored, and dominated the first half without conceding a shot on target. Jota’s introduction in the 66th minute proved pivotal, as he scored just 22 seconds after coming on, heading in Kostas Tsimikas’ corner.
Liverpool’s attack, led by Jota, created more chances, but Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels made key saves to keep the score level. Despite Jota's efforts, including two denied shots and a last-minute save from Sels against Mohamed Salah, Forest earned a point. Liverpool remain six points clear at the top, with a game in hand.
