Lina Souloukou, former CEO of Roma, is joining Nottingham Forest as their new CEO, the club announced on Monday.
Souloukou, who resigned from Roma three months ago following fan backlash after the sacking of Daniele De Rossi, will begin her role on January 5. She previously worked with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis at Olympiacos, where she served as CEO for four years.
Souloukou’s responsibilities at Forest will include overseeing the club's strategic development as they sit in fourth place in the Premier League. Marinakis expressed excitement about her return to his football group, emphasizing her experience and passion for success. Forest had been without a CEO since early 2023.
