Nsoatreman FC has been dissolved – Club PRO, Gyempeh Kofi Joel

Nsoatreman FC has been dissolved, as confirmed by the club’s Communications Director, Gyempeh Kofi Joel, on March 14.

The decision to withdraw from the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season follows safety concerns after the team narrowly escaped an attack while traveling for a match against FC Samartex.

Joel stated that the club's leadership could no longer guarantee the safety of players and staff, leading to the dissolution and players being sent home.

The club has faced controversy after the stabbing death of Asante Kotoko fan Francis Frimpong, resulting in a ban on their home ground, Nana Kronmansah Park. The Ghana Football Association has yet to respond to the club's decision.
