James Kwesi Appiah, interim member of Asante Kotoko's Management Committee, has accused Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah of inciting the violence during the GPL match between Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC, which led to the tragic death of Kotoko fan Francis Frimpong, known as 'Nana Pooley'.

Appiah, who was present at the match, claimed that Baffour Awuah became upset after the Kotoko team did not join him on the pitch to defuse a brawl between players.

Kwesi Appiah alleged that Baffour Awuah incited fans to attack the visitors, which resulted in armed men targeting key Kotoko figures.

Three individuals have been arrested, with two granted bail, and they will appear in court on February 17.
