Nora Häuptle has left her role as head coach of Ghana's women's national football team, the Black Queens, after her contract expired on December 31, 2024.
Häuptle, appointed in 2021, successfully led the team to qualify for the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
However, she failed to secure Olympic qualification for Ghana, losing to Zambia.
Häuptle is set to become the head coach of Zambia's Copper Queens, with a reported two-year contract offering a monthly salary of $7,000.
The Ghana Football Association is now searching for a new coach for the Black Queens ahead of the 2025 WAFCON.
