Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has blamed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and head coach Otto Addo for the Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
For the first time in 20 years, Ghana will miss the tournament after finishing last in their qualifying group with just three points from six games.
Speaking to Sporty FM, Agyemang-Badu held both the GFA and Addo responsible for the disappointing campaign.
Despite this setback, the Black Stars will regroup for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers later this month, with crucial matches against Chad and Madagascar.
