Kwesi Nyantakyi, former President of the Ghana Football Association, suggests that the Black Stars' technical team, led by Otto Addo, needs a psychologist following their poor performance in the AFCON qualifiers.
Ghana failed to qualify for the African Cup of Nations for the first time in 20 years, not winning a single match. This has led to calls for Otto Addo's dismissal before the World Cup qualifiers in March. Nyantakyi believes a psychologist could help address the psychological challenges affecting both the players and coaching staff.
He pointed to an incident during a match against Niger, where Addo's reaction after a consolation goal suggested deeper psychological issues within the team.
