Otto Addo sees 'other players' ahead of Andre Ayew in Black Stars call-up

Black Stars coach Otto Addo has shared news about Andre Ayew.

He stated that Ayew is lower in the order for national team call-ups.

The 35-year-old has not been invited since Addo returned in March 2024.

This season, Andre has scored four goals in 11 starts for Le Havre.

Addo said, "If we need Andre Ayew, we will call him."

He added, "At the moment, I see others ahead of him."

In Andre's absence, his brother Jordan is now the captain of Ghana.

Jordan led the Black Stars to wins over Chad and Madagascar.

These victories were part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana is now at the top of Group I with 15 points.

There are four games remaining in this qualifying round.
