The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reportedly reaffirmed Otto Addo as Black Stars head coach despite the team’s failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Following an intense Executive Council meeting on November 27, 2024, the GFA decided to retain Addo, with members expressing confidence in his ability to lead the team forward.
The GFA plans to appoint a technical advisor to assist Addo and strengthen the technical setup. His immediate focus will be on securing Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with matches against Chad and Madagascar in March 2025.
The decision aims to rebuild the Black Stars’ credibility, though fans remain cautious, expecting better results and consistent performance under Addo’s leadership.
