Otto Addo will need support to play 2026 World Cup qualifiers after AFCON qualifiers collapse - Frimpong Manso

Former Ghana international Frimpong Manso has highlighted the necessity of backing Otto Addo as he gears up the Black Stars for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers next year.

Manso's remarks follow Ghana's underwhelming performance in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, where the team risks missing the tournament for the first time in 20 years.

With only two points from four matches, their chances of qualifying for the AFCON in Morocco are precariously low.

As the final AFCON qualifiers approach this month, Manso expressed skepticism about Ghana's prospects but called on fans and officials to unite in support of Addo as preparations for the World Cup qualifiers, set to resume in March 2025, begin.
