‘Our quality wasn’t the best’, says Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana after Southampton’s defeat to Bournemouth

Ghanaian international Kamaldeen Sulemana has expressed concerns over Southampton’s performance in their 3-1 loss to AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League.

Sulemana, who scored Southampton’s only goal, admitted that while the team put in effort and created chances, their overall quality was lacking.

He personally acknowledged his need for improvement, having missed three shots before scoring. He highlighted Bournemouth’s advantage in winning second balls and their attacking confidence.

Despite the defeat, Sulemana noted that Southampton played more directly in the second half. After recovering from injury, he is steadily regaining form and must continue working hard to reach his full potential.
