Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom
Elmina Sharks owner Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom is facing criticism for entering the inner perimeter of his sports complex during a heated Division One League match against Swedru All Blacks.
Officials of the visiting team accused him of inciting supporters against the referee after a penalty decision led to Sharks' 1-0 loss.
Swedru All Blacks' spokesperson, Nathaniel Obeng, alleged that Nduom threatened the referee, demanding the penalty decision be overturned or he would order his players to leave the pitch.
Both Elmina Sharks and midfielder Jay Asamoah Kola have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for misconduct.
The incident adds to concerns over football violence in Ghana, with the GFA expected to enforce stricter disciplinary measures to restore order in the league.
