Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Saint-Etienne: Dembele double does the damage

Ousmane Dembele scored twice as Paris Saint-Germain defeated Saint-Etienne 2-1 at the Parc des Princes, extending their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to seven points.

Dembele opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a brilliant solo effort and doubled PSG's lead with a penalty after a handball by Leo Petrot. Despite a second-half strike from Zuriko Davitashvili, PSG maintained their advantage.

Bradley Barcola's goal was ruled out for a foul, and he later missed a golden chance to extend PSG's lead. Dembele nearly completed a hat-trick but missed a one-on-one late on. With 10 goals this season, Dembele has filled the gap left by Kylian Mbappe’s departure, helping PSG remain unbeaten under Luis Enrique.
