Pig's head thrown on pitch during derby in Brazil

During a match in the Brazilian championship between Sao Paulo rivals Corinthians and Palmeiras, a pig's head was thrown onto the field.

This occurred while Palmeiras was getting ready for a corner kick in the first half.

Corinthians player Yuri Alberto ran from the penalty area to remove the object from the pitch before the game resumed. Alberto later scored, contributing to Corinthians' 2-0 victory.

He recounted the incident to O Globo's SporTV, saying, "I nearly injured my foot, thinking it was a cushion. I kicked it away and realized it was a pig's head."
