Players drinking & chasing teammates’ girlfriends cause of Kotoko’s downfall – Coach reveals

Ghanaian coach and football scout Ebenezer Sefa has spoken out. He cites indiscipline among players of Kumasi Asante Kotoko as a major issue. This indiscipline is affecting the club's performance in the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Sefa shared his thoughts with Sporty FM. He said, "There is indiscipline in the Asante Kotoko squad." Players are drinking and pursuing each other's girlfriends. This behavior impacts their performance on the pitch.

He urged supporters not to blame the coach for the team's struggles. The players also play a significant role in these issues.

This statement comes after the club recently sacked head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum. He was under pressure due to poor results and has been replaced by Abdul Karim Zito.

Asante Kotoko has not won any of their last five matches. Their poor form has dropped them from first to fourth place in the league table. They currently have 47 points after 28 matches.

The team is now six points behind league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars. Fans are frustrated with this ongoing situation.
