Police Ladies are new Southern Zone WPL queen

Police Ladies are the new champions of the Southern Zone in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League (WPL). They achieved this after an impressive 18-match run.

On the final match day, Police Ladies won 2-0 against FC Epiphany Warriors. This victory took place at Adjiriganor Astro Turf in Accra. With this win, they secured their top position, finishing two points ahead of Hasaacas Ladies.

Before the final match, both teams were tied with 36 points. The only difference was goal difference.

This marks Police Ladies' first time reaching the grand final of the league. Hasaacas Ladies could not secure all three points at home against Jonina Ladies.
