Asante Kotoko's 1-1 draw with Medeama in a Ghana Premier League match on Sunday ended their four-game winning streak.
Kotoko took the lead in the 44th minute through Kwame Opoku, continuing his strong form. However, Medeama equalized in the second half after Kamaradini Mamudu capitalized on a defensive error. Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, Kotoko failed to secure a win, with coach Prosper Narteh Ogum expressing frustration over his side's missed opportunities.
He felt the draw was not reflective of the match, as his team had control but couldn’t convert their chances. Kotoko will now look to bounce back in their next game as they aim to stay in contention for the league title.
