Rabat to host the draw for Afcon 2025 on January 27

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Rabat will host the draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, scheduled for January 27, 2025.

The tournament, set to take place in Morocco, will begin with the opening match on December 21, 2025, and conclude with the final on January 18, 2026.

These key decisions were made during a CAF Executive Bureau meeting held in Marrakech on Monday, December16,2024.

The announcement highlights Morocco’s role as the host nation for the prestigious football event, which will feature teams from across the continent competing for the championship title.
