Real 24 Hours won the first Betway Tumu Community Cup. They defeated Bujan Crocodiles 1-0 in the final. The match took place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Tumu Sports Stadium AstroTurf.
The winning goal was scored just minutes into the first half. Real 24 Hours, a Division Two team from Tumu, held strong under pressure. This victory marked a historic achievement for them.
In addition to the trophy, they received GHS5,000 and medals. Bujan Crocodiles, as runners-up, earned GHS3,000 and medals for their efforts.
To reach the final, Real 24 Hours won two matches by penalty shootouts. One of these was against pre-tournament favorites Soccer Babies. Soccer Babies secured third place after defeating Kong Danger Stars in a shootout.
Soccer Babies earned GHS2,000 and were the only team to win in regulation time. They beat Nabulo 2-0 in the opening match. All other six games were decided by penalties.
The tournament was attended by Sissala East MP Mohammed Issah Bataglia and Municipal Chief Executive Adamu Yakubu.
This one-day event followed six qualifying matches. It was organized by Joy Sports editor Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo with support from Betway and Peeva Beverages.
