The relationship between Real Madrid and Barcelona has taken a surprising turn, with the two rivals growing closer, as seen in the recent Dani Olmo and Pau Victor registration case.
Barcelona faced a setback when La Liga and the RFEF unregistered both players due to a missed deadline, but the club contested this decision and received an emergency injunction from the High Committee for Sport (CSD) to keep them registered while the case is resolved.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez played a pivotal role in securing this injunction by contacting CSD Head Jose Manuel Rodriguez Uribes.
Although Perez reportedly boasted about his involvement, the final resolution of the case, expected in early April, could result in the players being sidelined again.
Barcelona remains confident in their appeal, even as their ongoing rivalry with Real Madrid appears to be marked by moments of cooperation.
