Real Madrid deal with Alphonso Davies ‘almost done’ – ‘betrayals are out of our control’

Real Madrid is awaiting a decision from Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies, who was initially expected to join the club.

According to Diario AS, Real Madrid has made their offer, with Davies aware of his salary and contract details, and they expect him to sign in January.

However, Bayern is still trying to keep him, offering a deal close to €14m per season.

Davies had initially sought €20m annually but lowered it to €15m, plus a €15m signing bonus.

While happy in Munich, Davies sees joining Real Madrid at 24 as a significant opportunity.

If he doesn't sign with Real Madrid, it will likely be due to financial reasons. He is also linked to Manchester United.
