Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti – ‘It wasn’t a mistake not to attend Ballon d’Or ceremony’

He stated that the club believed Vinicius Junior should have won the previous year and saw no reason to attend.

Despite criticism, Ancelotti insisted that the decision was not meant as disrespect toward Rodri.

Vinicius, currently struggling with injuries and a goal drought, remains a key player, with Ancelotti praising his contributions this season.

Ancelotti himself won Manager of the Year at the awards, while other Madrid players were also recognized.
