Real Madrid ‘much closer’ to Bayern Munich star after agent orders contract to be drawn up

Despite Bayern's attempts to secure a deal, Marca reports that Real Madrid is optimistic after Davies’ agent, Nedal Huoseh, instructed lawyers to draft contracts based on prior agreements.

While Davies still needs to sign, this development signals progress for Los Blancos.

They maintain their original offer, while Bayern has improved its terms, making Davies the second-highest earner after Harry Kane. Madrid believes Davies' desire to join them may sway the decision, especially given their current left-back options are underperforming.

Davies and Trent Alexander-Arnold are primary targets for strengthening their defense next summer.
