Real Madrid sources deny interest in world class midfielder

Real Madrid is expected to be active in the summer transfer market, aiming for at least two major signings.

A midfield reinforcement is likely, with Joshua Kimmich previously linked as a potential replacement for Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

Kimmich, available as a free agent at season’s end, reportedly engaged in talks with Real Madrid, though sources within the club deny any plans to sign him.

Instead, Real Madrid’s primary focus appears to be on Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies, also nearing contract expiry, although he is expected to renew with Bayern.

The club is also interested in Trent Alexander-Arnold. While a midfielder may still be targeted to cover Modric’s probable departure, Kimmich is unlikely to be part of Real Madrid’s plans.
