Real Madrid star open to Qatar move – ‘It’s a probable destination’

Dani Carvajal, 32, confirmed he is open to a move to Qatari football after leaving Real Madrid, given his limited time left in the game.

Recovering from a knee injury, which will keep him out for a year, Carvajal stated he has just a few years of football left.

He expressed that if he leaves Real Madrid, he wouldn't play in Europe, avoiding competition against the club.

He mentioned his former teammate Joselu, now playing in Qatar, has encouraged him to join. Carvajal acknowledged Qatar’s high quality of life and financial benefits.

Despite potential competition for the Spain team from players like Pedro Porro, Carvajal aims for a World Cup return in 2026.
