Milan has received positive news regarding Noah Okafor’s transfer to RB Leipzig, which is set to be a loan deal for €1.5m with an option to buy for around €25m.
After initial delays due to concerns over Okafor’s injury record and cost, negotiations have been resolved. Okafor will undergo medical tests in Germany on Monday.
Milan is keen to sell Okafor in January for two main reasons: to free up a spot for another forward and to release a non-EU player slot.
Okafor, signed from RB Salzburg for €15.5m in summer 2023, was not included in Milan's recent match against Cagliari.
