Roma beat Lazio 2-0 in Italian Serie A derby

AS Roma defeated Lazio 2-0 in the Serie A week 19 derby on Sunday at Stadio Olimpico.

Lorenzo Pellegrini opened the scoring for Roma in the 10th minute, followed by Alexis Saelemaekers doubling the lead just eight minutes later. Lazio's hopes were further dashed when Argentine forward Valentín Castellanos was shown a red card in the 95th minute.

Despite the loss, Lazio remain in fourth place with 35 points, while Roma are in 10th with 23 points in the standings.
