Royal Antwerp join Gideon Mensah race

Royal Antwerp is interested in signing Gideon Mensah this summer.

The 26-year-old defender plays for AJ Auxerre in Ligue 1. He is a Ghana international and a former RB Salzburg player.

Many clubs across Europe are eyeing him, including Sheffield United and FC Porto. These teams are considered the front-runners for his signature.

Royal Antwerp wants to compete with these clubs for Mensah. They recognize his talent from his loan at Zulte Waregem in 2020.

His impressive performances have increased his value to 3.5 million Euros. This is the amount suitors must pay to sign him.

So far this season, Mensah has played in 27 matches for AJ Auxerre. He has also earned 26 caps with the Ghana national team, the Black Stars.
