Liverpool extended their Premier League lead to nine points with a 2-0 win over Bournemouth, thanks to a brace from Mohamed Salah.
His goals brought his total to 178 league goals, surpassing Frank Lampard on the all-time Premier League list.
Salah opened the scoring with a 30th-minute penalty, and sealed the victory with a stunning curled shot in the 74th minute.
Bournemouth had several chances, including a shot off the post and a rebound over the bar, but couldn’t capitalize. Liverpool are now unbeaten in 19 matches and top the table with 56 points.
Despite Bournemouth’s resilience, they remain seventh in the league. Salah’s contract expires this summer, but manager Arne Slot hopes to secure an extension for the Egyptian star.
