Samartex is set to undergo a managerial change as head coach Nurudeen Amadu prepares to leave the club.
Amadu, who led the team to their first-ever Ghana Premier League title last season, has struggled to maintain form during their title defense.
Despite the historic achievement, which earned Samartex a spot in the CAF Champions League, their performance this season has been poor, with only four wins, five draws, and four losses, including three consecutive defeats.
Although Amadu has not officially resigned, reports suggest his departure could be imminent. Appointed in July 2023, Amadu had previously coached King Faisal and served as assistant coach for Ghana’s U-20 and U-17 teams, as well as the U-18 head coach.
