Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu risks sanctions from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after criticizing officiating in his team’s dramatic 2-1 win over Medeama in the Ghana Premier League.

Despite securing three points, Boadu expressed dissatisfaction with referee Mawuli Klu's performance, stating, "The FA can sanction me, I don’t mind. This level of officiating will collapse Ghana football."

The match saw Stephen Amankona give Chelsea a first-half lead, with Medeama equalizing through a late penalty converted by Mubarik Yussif in the 89th minute. However, Zakaria Fuseini scored a 90+9-minute winner, securing victory for Chelsea.

Berekum Chelsea finished the first round of the league in 10th place with 22 points. The GFA may charge Boadu for his public comments about officiating.
