Samuel Mbangula scored his first goal in the Champions League

Juventus secured a narrow victory over PSV in their Champions League knockout play-off, thanks to a late goal from Samuel Mbangula.

The Italian side dominated early, with Nicolas Gonzalez, Kenan Yildiz, and Randal Kolo Muani all threatening. Weston McKennie put Juventus ahead in the 34th minute with a stunning strike.

PSV struggled to create chances but equalized through Ivan Perisic, whose goal survived a VAR review.

Mbangula, introduced at halftime, had an earlier attempt cleared off the line before scoring the winner from close range.

Juventus had already beaten PSV 3-1 in the group stage. The decisive second leg will be held at Philips Stadion on February 19.
