Ismaila Sarr scored twice to help Crystal Palace secure a 3-1 win over Brighton, handing the hosts their first home defeat of the season and moving Palace four points clear of the relegation zone.
Trevoh Chalobah opened the scoring in the 27th minute, followed by Sarr’s header from Tyrick Mitchell’s cross six minutes later.
Sarr sealed the victory with a third goal in the 82nd minute, rolling the ball past Brighton keeper Bart Verbruggen. Brighton’s sole goal came from a Marc Guehi own goal after a corner scramble.
Despite late pressure from Brighton and key saves by Palace’s Dean Henderson, Palace held on for their first win over Brighton since 2021.
