Simeone warns Atletico to stay humble after extending winning run

Diego Simeone urged his Atletico Madrid players to remain grounded after their 1-0 victory over Osasuna extended their winning streak to 14 games, moving them to the top of LaLiga.

Julian Alvarez's second-half goal, stemming from a well-executed set-piece routine, secured the win. Simeone highlighted the importance of set-pieces, saying, "We had been talking with the guys about giving set-pieces the importance it deserves."

Despite their strong form, including wins over Barcelona and Real Madrid, Simeone stressed humility, stating, "We are not going anywhere without humility." He downplayed talk of winning the LaLiga title, adding, "To repeat what we've done in the first half of the season, we’ll have to keep working one match at a time."
