Former Chelsea player Joe Cole criticized the club for selling Marc Guehi, one of their top young defenders.

Guehi, who joined Chelsea's academy at age seven and made his first-team debut in 2019, was loaned to Swansea before being sold to Crystal Palace in 2021.

Since then, he has become a standout defender in the Premier League and a regular for England.

Chelsea, struggling with defensive issues and injuries, is reportedly trying to bring him back.

Cole expressed frustration, noting that he saw Guehi’s potential and that his success at Palace highlights what Chelsea lost by selling him.
